Imagine Dragons drop new single

This week, Imagine Dragons gave us a BIG preview of their upcoming album. The Nevada band first teased their highly anticipated third LP by cryptically tweeting the word “studio” last September.  This Tuesday, the dubstep-rock band released “Believer” as the album’s lead single. Here’s hoping that we get the new LP very soon! Until then, listen to “Believer” above!


Mac DeMarco announces new album

On Tuesday, Mac DeMarco announced a new album, entitled This Old Dog. The Canadian artist also shared two singles, “This Old Dog” and “My Old Man.” The songs feature DeMarco’s signature mellow sound and, unusually for a 26-year-old artist, lyrics about getting older and reminiscing. DeMarco has also modestly revealed that his new album will be “the same as any other time, I guess,” referring to the fact that he is the only instrumentalist featured on the album. Look out for This Old Dog when it drops in May!


John Lennon and Yoko Ono Biopic in the Works

On Wednesday, it was announced that Michael De Luca, known for producing The Social Network and Moneyball, is working on a new movie about John Lennon and Yoko Ono. Ono herself, as well as Oscar-nominated screenwriter Anthony McCarten, are working with De Luca to produce the film. De Luca expressed that “the story will focus on ripe and relevant themes of love, courage, and activism in the U.S., with the intention of inspiring today’s youth to stand up for and have a clear vision for the world they want.”


Fleet Foxes announce first U.S. show in six years

The beloved Seattle band have announced that they're making a comeback, and it's going down right here in Rhode Island! Fleet Foxes will be headlining the first day of Newport Folk Festival this July, and are slated to release their highly anticipated new album in the near future.


Beach House announce tour premiering new rarities compilation

Beach House have just announced a number of shows they will be headlining, starting in March, in addition to their already busy festival schedule. The indie rock band last released new music in 2015, but are currently working on a compilation of rarities, which will likely feature heavily in their sets this year.
