Paramore release their fifth studio album After Laughter, announce Parahoy! festival cruise
After releasing two singles “Hard Times” and “Told You So” the pop rock band finally drops their album After Laughter, featuring twelve tracks. Hayley said of the record’s title: "After Laughter is about the look on people's faces when they're done laughing. If you watch somebody long enough, there's always this look that comes across their face when they're done smiling, and I always find it really fascinating to wonder what it is that brought them back to reality. So, that's what After Laughter is." Paramore has announced their third Parahoy! Festival, an cruise that will sail from Miami to the Bahamas, April 6-10, 2018. Guests will have the chance to attend a Q&A session, “Paraoke” with the band, and, of course, hear them perform! Find out more here.
Green Day to start off ABC’s summer concert series
Good Morning America’s Facebook live stream featured the words Green Day slowly being chipped out of a giant, frozen popsicle. The rest of the concert series features acts like Fifth Harmony, The Chainsmokers, The Lumineers, Zedd featuring Alessia Cara, Linkin Park, Bleachers, Imagine Dragons, and Paramore, among others. Green Day is currently touring their latest album Revolution Radio in Australia and New Zealand.
Rise Against fall tour with White Lung and Pierce the Veil
The tour will begin on September 14th in British Columbia and finish on October 6th in New Jersey. Tickets on sale beginning today. (Find them at the Rise Against website.) If you purchase tickets, they will come with a copy of their new album Wolves, slated for a June 9th release. Vic Fuentes, Pierce the Veil lead singer, calls it, “such an honor to be asked to tour with a band that I have been inspired by since I was a teenager. I love when things come full circle like that.”
Imagine Dragons set release date for third studio album
The band’s third studio album Evolve is now slated for a June 23rd release. So far the band has dropped three singles—“Whatever it Takes,” “Thunder,” and “Believer.” Pre-order the album for an instant download of all three songs. Lead singer Dan Reynolds describes the band’s philosophy on what makes a good song: "If a song cannot stand alone, just simply sung on the guitar or on the piano, and it has to be dressed up with production to make it a good song, than it's really not a good song.”
Red Hot Chili Peppers drop new video, to headline at festivals
Red Hot Chili Peppers have a new music video out for their song "Goodbye Angels," a track from their 2016 record The Getaway, the band’s eleventh studio album. They kicked off the next leg of their North American tour on May 11th in Pittsburgh. They will be headlining Meadows Music & Arts Festival in Queens and the Austin City Limits festival in Texas.
