Twenty One Pilots Releases New Music Video
Twenty One Pilots has released the music video for their new song “Heathens,” which is featured on the soundtrack for the upcoming film Suicide Squad. It features members of the band locked up in a high-security, supervillain-filled prison. The full album, which also features music from Panic! at the Disco, Grimes, and Dan Auerbach, will be out alongside the film on August 5.
Unreleased Nirvana Songs Leaked
There are reports that seven unreleased Nirvana songs written by Dave Grohl have leaked on a private Nirvana forum. The tracks are from 1993 and were found on a reel purchased by a fan on eBay.
Ticketmaster Issues Ticket Vouchers
As part of the settlement of a 2003 class action lawsuit filed against Ticketmaster for excessive, unclear fees, the ticket sales website must return money to its customers. Anyone who has purchased tickets on Ticketmaster from 1999-2013 could be eligible for discount codes as well as ticket vouchers, which can be redeemed for general admission tickets to a number of shows nationwide. Fall Out Boy and Missy Elliott Cover Ghostbusters Theme
Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy has released a cover of the Ghostbusters theme song with Missy Elliott. The cover is for the new Ghostbusters film which will be in theaters July 15.
Blink-182 Release New Music Video
Blink-182 has released a new music video for “Bored to Death,” the lead single off their new album, California. The video juxtaposes the boredom of school with the thrill of music and adventure. California will be out on July 1.
