SoundCloud is in danger of shutting down for good due to financial difficulties. The beloved music sharing and streaming site is a cornerstone of the music streaming community. The site spawns stars and viral hits - and provides a great place for amateurs to share their work. The company laid off 173 employees earlier this month, but claims they aren’t shutting down anytime soon. On the upside, each of those employees was just offered $10,000 to start something new - so who knows what’s next?

Linkin Park mourns Chester Bennington

The world was shaken by Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington’s death last week on the 20th, and is still in shock a week later. The band has published a tribute site at http://chester.linkinpark.com/ that features posts from fans and resources to help people struggling with suicidal thoughts. The band also posted this open letter to Bennington:
