22 slain in Manchester concert attack
— Ariana Grande (@ArianaGrande) May 26, 2017
On Monday, a joyful occasion turned into a scene of horror when a suicide bomber attacked concertgoers at an Ariana Grande show in Manchester, UK. Twenty-two people, many of them adolescents, were killed, and at least seventy more were injured. The attacker has been identified as 22-year-old Salman Abedi, a Manchester native. In response to the tragedy, Grande penned a heartfelt letter to the victims and their loved ones, noting an intention to fundraise for their needs: “I’ll be returning to the incredibly brave city of Manchester to spend time with my fans and to have a benefit concert in honor of and to raise money for the victims and their families.” Numerous other parties are fundraising for those affected by the bombing; a list of these efforts can be found here.

twenty one pilots win big at BBMAs
Our little band’s all grown up! The guys who accepted their first Grammy in their underwear scored seventeen nominations at the Billboard Music Awards this Sunday, and won seven, including Top Duo/Group and the Chart Achievement Award. We’re so proud! In funnier news, TOP lead singer Tyler Joseph fell off a piano while playing Hangout Fest last weekend. The video’s even more hilarious than it sounds. (No need to feel shame for your schadenfreude; he kept right on performing like a champ!)
