Portugal the Man ROBBED

Sad news for Portugal the Man. Right after their show at Lollapalooza this past weekend, almost all of their equipment was stolen out of their tour van that was parked in a lot in Chicago.

97 pieces of equipment were stolen.

Among the equipment stolen were several guitars, including a 1971 Fender Strat, a Gretch white falcon, a 1966 Mustang Fender bass, an electric organ and piano, amps, microphones and dozens of pedals. The band has made a full list of the van’s contents available so that fans can check local pawn shops (read the full list here).

They are asking for the public’s help in tracking down the thief and want anyone with any info to contact their Twitter at @portgualtheman.
