Red Bull Soapbox Race here in Providence
This October 13th, Providence, R.I., will host the first ever Red Bull Soapbox Race to hit the Northeast. Catch a glimpse of College Hill and you’ll see the Tooth Fairy, King Kong and Timmy the Turtle speeding down the steep 1/4-mile course in hopes of racing glory. Waterman Street’s narrow Shikane and “Judgment Junction” promise to challenge even the best of these human-powered soapboxes as they reach speeds of over 35mph.
