Miss seeing Fitz and the Tantrums at Lupo’s this past October? Check them out on “The Ellen Degeneres Show” TOMORROW (January 30th)!!

Not only has Ellen Degeneres hand picked a Fitz song to be featured in one of her “Here We Go” Oscars trailer (a piece in which Ellen and 200 others dance to Fitz and the Tantrums’ new single, “The Walker,” check it out below), but TOMORROW she will have the band on her show!

The band clearly made a strong impression on Degeneres with their new single “The Walker,” leading to its appearance in the oscar trailer directed by Paul Feig and choreographed by Stephen “tWitch” Boss. The band’s own video for “The Walker,” in comparison, also tells a Hollywood story, and can be seen below.

“The Walker” is from Fitz and The Tantrums’ latest album, More than Just a Dream and is going to radio now. Keep your ears perked and keep listening to WBRU to catch it on the go from your favorite alternative music source.

And if you STILL can’t get enough, the group will be bringing you more great appearances through out the spring. On February 5, Fitz and The Tantrums will tape an episode of “Live from the Artists Den” in LA and on March 3, the band will perform on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” This summer, the group will kick off a North American headline tour. Unfortunately, the group won’t be back to visit Providence again this year, but if you’re willing to make the trip, you will catch them at The Governors Ball Music Festival in NYC this June.
Love seeing great things from WBRU’s friends Fitz and the Tantrums!
