He's always had a passion for music; music is the perfect compliment to every moment in life. There's nothing he loves more than giving you the right music to compliment your Sunday and at WBRU he thinks we got just what you need no matter the situation.

Rood Girl

Rood Girl is a proud native of New Jersey, if only because Lauryn Hill hails from the same state. While not in the booth for 360, she listens to Channel Orange and wonders when she'll get to hear new Frank Ocean. She also has a habit of eating entire apples, including the core.

Just a girl madly in love with all things Bastille and MisterWives. Always seeking an adventure, Witz will never make plans, and instead will set out and just see what life brings. Never to be found in the same place for more than a year (lets see how long she can stay in PVD), Witz enjoys starting fresh and meeting as many different people as she can along her way.

Hails from the land of bad coffee, John Hughes films, and hyperactive-squirrels. If not correcting his caffeination-deprivation within Providence's cosmic collection of baristas and shiny espresso machines, you can likely find Reese on the air. Or you can find him petting his one true love Tobey: a terrier with a mop for hair.

These days, Nico spends most of her time at BRU talking about The Strokes on-air and asking listeners to vote for 12 Cuts Above the Rest. The Strokes might barely be a band at this point, but 12 Cuts is still going strong. So call your local DJ at (401)272-9555 and vote.

An eclectic New York native, Jojo promises that people don't say "I'm walkin' here" as much as you'd think. When she's not at BRU, she can be found eating Greek yogurt, making jokes that only she finds funny, and listening to disco un-ironically.

Like most Rhode Islanders, K-Lo thought she’d leave and never look back but decided to stay upon realizing that coffee milk does not exist beyond the confinements of this tiny state. So if she occasionally adds or drops -er endings of her words on air, you have no right to make fun of her because, be honest with yourself, you do it too. A long time BRU listener, her goal is to corrupt the minds of the youth by exposing them to alternative music just as she was

Cat, a true Florida native, still can't accurately identify Rhode Island on a map. She can however, pick Jack White's forearms out of a lineup. Cat enjoys embarrassing things like saying "hashtag" out loud, but she claims she can stop whenever she wants to.

Hailing from halfway between Boston and Providence, Shley (“SH-lee,” never “SH-lay,” sometimes “SH-ly”) can usually be found eating hummus by the spoon or Half Baked by the pint. A self-proclaimed manatee, Shley's home is water and indie music is her way of life.

The only thing that makes AV more excited than midnight marathons of 80's sitcoms are the sweet, sultry sounds of alternative. A born-and-raised New Englander, AV's a wicked big fan of Dunkin Donuts, eating snow for breakfast, and the word "wicked." Equipped with a (seriously hilarious) story about that one time he gave Julian Casablancas of The Strokes a high five at Lupo's, AV is stoked to bring good vibes to the Ocean State. If you want to get on his good side, liberal use of the accordion never hurts

A true Miami girl at heart, Chilbo has yet to accept the fact she can't wear flip flops everywhere. Her life's dream is to have Bill Murray play her in a biographical film, and she gets emotional when she listens to The Smashing Pumpkins.
