The Met's reopening as a concert venue was certainly sworn in again when the sound of noise-pop duo Sleigh Bells blared through its walls and shook it to its core. Luckily, the venue is completely just redone so it hasn't suffered much damage-- in fact, the band's placement early on the list of acts coming to perform at the site is fortunate in that a large crowd of many faces- rockers, hipsters, dancers, teens, tweens, hippies, college kids, bar-goers- were all pleased with the power and the intimacy of the newly redone venue
