DJ Tramp here! Sayin’ wassup to everyone out there in the 401. A little bit about me. I’m originally from Chicago, but now Providence is my home. As proof of my midwestern-ness, I do say “pop” instead of “soda,” but I picked up “wicked,” too, so I guess that makes me a hybrid.

Best and worst parts of being a DJ:
The worst part is definitely wakin’ up at 4:30AM to get to work and the best part is 5:30AM when work starts.
Best experiences from working at WBRU:
The day some guy called and compared working at Dave & Busters to being a Supreme Court Justice…
That and getting to know the guys from Senior Discount, Johnny Lingo and The Down and Ours; they all rock-ski-magee.
Biggest fanboy moment:
I got to meet Andrew Volpe from Ludo, and I absolutely couldn’t even move when he said ,”Hi” to me.
What do you think about right before you go on-air?
I try to imagine Thom Yorke in his underwear, then I can usually say something funny.
If you could interview one band, who would it be and what would you ask them?
That’s really hard, I’d like to meet the guys from SOAD, but I think if I could pick anyone band, I’d interview Radiohead (Cliched I know). I don’t know what I’d ask.
What is the craziest call you’ve ever had?
Oh, G-d. Well I was working one of my morning shows and this girl calls up and tells about how she totally wants to do Jared Leto. She got kinda graphic with her description of what she wanted to do. Then she said, “I’d tell you more but I’m gonna be late for class.” So I asked her, “Oh, so where are you at? URI? J-Wu? Brown?” and she says, “No, Hugh Bains Middle School.”
Favorite color?
Probably, Dark Ron Burgundy Red.
Cartoon?
Yes, please?
Batman or Superman? (or Boba Fett?)
Boba Fett, no doubt. Well probably Dengar, but I bet you don’t know who he is…

You are the best wbru DJ I’ve ever heard.
Dengar’s a good choice. Still too slow for Solo, though! Always just a few steps behind. Haha.
Also, your show is my favorite. We have loads of commonalities!
After my fiance yelled shyriiwook into your ear today, he reminded me that you guys are the coolest radio station there is. Of course, next week when I’m back in Orlando, we’ll be forced to listen to you on the phone. How tragic. Also, Erik wants you to friend him on facebook.
Also, wait… hold on. I know who Dengar is, but I’m a Fett girl. His backpack’s got jets…
